1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. You can also play as a guest without providing any personal information.

Game Data

We collect gameplay data including scores, game duration, combo counts, and session statistics to provide leaderboards and track your progress.

Purchase Information

When you make in-app purchases, transaction details are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We store your purchase history to manage your inventory (play packs and premium status).

Device & Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (app version, device type, feature usage). This helps us improve the game. You can opt out in Settings.

Crash Data

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information. This data is not linked to your identity and is used solely to fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain game functionality
  • To manage your account and inventory
  • To display leaderboards
  • To process in-app purchases
  • To improve game performance and fix bugs
  • To send important service updates (not marketing)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Firebase (Google) — authentication, analytics, crash reporting
  • RevenueCat — in-app purchase management
  • Apple — payment processing via App Store

4. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active
  • When you delete your account, personal data (email, display name) is permanently removed. Anonymous game statistics are retained for leaderboard integrity
  • Crash and analytics data is automatically deleted after 90 days

5. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access your data through the Profile screen
  • Delete your account and personal data in Profile > Delete Account
  • Opt out of analytics in Settings
  • Contact us at support@gub.arasmehmet.com for any data requests

6. Children's Privacy

Gub in the Box does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game can be played as a guest without providing any personal data.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth. We do not store passwords — authentication tokens are managed securely by Firebase.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
