Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Gub in the Box ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

Gub in the Box is a casual puzzle game where you identify creatures hiding in a box. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as needed to operate, secure, or improve the App.

3. Accounts

  • You may play as a guest or create an account with email.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account access secure.
  • You may delete your account through the App.
  • Deleting an account may remove unused play packs, progress, and premium state from that app account, subject to Apple purchase and subscription records.

4. In-App Purchases

  • Play packs and premium subscriptions are available through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
  • All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms, payment rules, refund process, and subscription settings.
  • Unused purchased play packs remain attached to your app account unless used, your account is deleted, or the App is discontinued.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple. We do not process App Store refunds directly.
  • Prices are shown in your local currency as determined by Apple.

5. Premium Subscription

Premium membership includes unlimited plays and enhanced gameplay settings such as additional starting lives, additional time, and modified time bonuses or penalties.

  • Premium subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
  • Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
  • Premium access remains available until the end of the paid period after cancellation, unless Apple or App Store rules provide otherwise.

6. Fair Play

  • Do not manipulate scores, exploit bugs, attack the service, or use automated tools.
  • We may reject scores, restrict accounts, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend access when fair play rules are violated.
  • Anti-cheat and abuse-prevention systems are used to maintain leaderboard integrity.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including artwork, sounds, code, characters, and game mechanics, is owned by Mehmet Aras or licensed for use in the App. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App except where permitted by law.

8. Availability and Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for damages arising from use of the App, service interruptions, data loss, or purchase issues handled by Apple, except where liability cannot be limited by applicable law.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region apply.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
